Health Survey in Colombia

Interviewers with the private research group Profamilia conduct an interview at an apartment in northwest Bogota as part of the National Nutrition Health Survey. Through this survey, the interviewers gather measurements of height and weight using portable equipment like this small scale. The CDC is analyzing the data to seek causes for Colombia's burgeoning rates of obesity and non-communicable diseases, which the country's health care system is ill-equipped to deal with.
