RED SEA (May 19, 2012) - An MH-60S Seahawk with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 22 lands aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) during a Visit, Board, Search and Seizure exercise May 19, 2012. New York is part of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit. New York is deployed participating in Exercise Eager Lion 12. Eager Lion 12 is designed to strengthen military-to-military relationships through a joint, whole-of-government, multinational approach to meet current and future complex national security challenges, including 19 countries from five different continents and more than 11,000 participants.
