100818-N-8907D-139 USS HARRY S. TRUMAN, Arabian Sea (Aug. 18, 2010) – Lt Kevin Keith assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron VMFA) 312 assists a mariner in distress with an Intravenous Fluid bag. Eight mariners were rescued by two SH-60’s from Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (HS) 7 and transported to Truman where they were evaluated by medical staff and provided clothing and food. The Truman Strike group is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
