Men and women across Wyoming have access to cancer education, prevention, screening, navigation and survivorship resources due to the expansion of the Wyoming Department of Health’s Wyoming Cancer Resource Services
Mission
The mission of the Wyoming Cancer Resource Services is to increase the number of Wyoming citizens being screened for cancer, to reduce cancer incidence though education and to provide patient navigation services throughout the continuum of care for those with a cancer diagnosis and their families.

Wyoming Cancer Resources Services is a program that provides your community with cancer prevention and control services. Wyoming Cancer Resource Services staff specializes in assisting clients with applications to statewide cancer screening programs (Breast and Cervical and Colorectal early detection programs). All services provided by the Wyoming Cancer Resource Services are free and confidential.
History:
The Wyoming Department of Health Comprehensive Cancer Control program is committed to reducing the impact of cancer for all Wyoming citizens. As part of the statewide cancer control plan, the program has divided the state into five regions to implement regional level cancer control though the use of the Wyoming Cancer Resources Services program. This program has been providing services since July 2007. They thank the Wyoming state legislature for providing this project funding.
The Buffalo office serves all communities across Northeastern Wyoming. With the goal to serve as a valuable resource for the people in our communities. Anyone is welcome to seek their services. They hope to increase the number of cancer survivors, and decrease the number of people affected by cancer.
