Peacock (Yoshizawa)
Diagrammed in Origami Dokuhon 1 (折り紙読本 1).
Body folded from 20x20cm, 130gsm 'Rainbow' paper. Tail fan and crown/crest folded from 25x29cm and 2.5x4cm rectangles respectively and were *cough* glued *cough* to the body and head.
This is for Ron's physiotherapist who wanted a COLOURFUL peacock befitting her bubbly character ... :-) It's partly to thank her for taking the trouble to bring papers from Singapore to Penang while I was there and also for the durians she brought back to us later on from Penang when I was back in Singapore.
Not really a good paper as it flakes off at the creases but manageable if care is taken. In any case, this is the best I can find at the moment.
Okay, I think I should get back to folding animals from single squares ...
