The Central Tower, Hereford Cathedral, Herefordshire

The huge Central Tower of the wonderful Hereford Cathedral. It soars 165' (50m) and dominates the countryside.

More importantly, it is a survivor. The Cathedral used to have two towers, that was until Easter Monday 1786 when the West Tower collasped, destroying the West End.
