Cao Dai Temple
The Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh, Vietnam is a beautiful place of worship that has taken bits and pieces of other religions including Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Catholicism to create an entire new religion. The many different colors of the temple and the clothes of the worshippers represent their status in the temple as well as the different religions incorporated into Caodaism. The lay followers wear the white robes while the priests wear either yellow to symbolize Buddhism, blue to symbolize Taoism, or red to symbolize Christianity. Bishops and cardinals also wear the Divine Eye which symbolizes God. Caodaism is an amazing and beautiful display of social and religious equality and respect.
