Meet Deuce. He was found in some public place (I forget where, maybe a park?) abused and alone a few years ago. My mom's friend adopted him, and tonight he finally warmed up to me and stopped freaking out when I came over. He's a sweet little weirdo, and I'm glad he has a home.
