4K image resolution

Hikvision DS-7608NI-Q1/8P is a high-end DVR that allows you to record and display images in very high resolution 4K. The Hikvision recorder has a video output in HDMI 4K standard (3840 × 2160), and a VGA connector with FullHD resolution (1920 × 1080). The image from the monitoring system is displayed in the UHDTV (Ultra High Definition Television) standard and is displayed in the 16: 9 format. The recorder allows you to change the video display on the HDMI and VGA output. This function allows that on each of the video outputs we can obtain an independent division of the screen of the chosen resolution.

PoE switch 8 ports DS-7608NI-Q1/8P

In the presented DVR Hikvision recorder there is a 8-port switch with PoE technology. Power over Ethernet technology allows TCP / IP network communication with the camera and its power supply via a single cable (standard UTP or FTP twisted pair). This solution is very convenient when designing CCTV monitoring systems. POE technology facilitates the work of the CCTV system installer during the assembly of the Hikvision monitoring installation.

H.265 + compression

The Hikvision recorder allows for very efficient work, since the latest video compression algorithms are used during the creation of recordings. Hikvision DVRdevices allow you to register from video cameras directly on the disk installed in the recorder - ie locally, and remotely via the TPC / IP network in all available standards: H.265, H.264 +, H.264. By means of the above video compression capabilities, Hikvision DVRs enable image recording, and allow for quick access to recorded CCTV video recordings, while using high resolution and smooth image.

In the latest recorders, Hikvision uses the H.264 + compression standard most often. This standard allows for greater compression of video material in the case of static scenes. With such a solution, the main stream generates less network traffic, which is very important for disk capacity. It is also worth noting that the size of the video material including its space on the hard disk will differ from each other depending on whether the material will be recorded in the mode of continuous recording or in the detection mode. The H.265 codec is a compression standard whose purpose is to operate cameras in 4K Ultra HD resolutions. The H.265 compression format is supported when recording the Hikvision ip camera image.

Extended client / CMS program

The IVMS-4200 program is a free CMS client that allows you to create a supervisory station for a system operator consisting of many different Hikvisiondevices (DVR, NVR, HVR, IP cameras). In addition to displaying live video, video playback and device configuration, multi-monitor operation, e-map support, alarm display, etc. are also possible.

Advanced support for mobile devices

Complementing the Hikvision solution is a client for popular IVMS-4500 mobile systems available for Android, iOS platforms. IVMS-4500 is available in the basic version dedicated to smartphones and tablets. Functionally it is possible to view live images, play recordings, control PTZ cameras, receive video alerts.
