Counter Clockwise Musings
29.365 Quoth the Raven
Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
`Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven.
Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore -
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'
The Raven was Published on this day- January 29, in 1845. I have my degree in English Literature, so I had to celebrate Poe's haunting masterpiece.
I tried to get my hands into this shot, as our Item over at Item Collab today was hands. This is the best shot with my hands, as the rest of them look funny because of the feathers I had glued onto myself. Yes. I glued feathers onto myself. And my spirit gum had dried up, so I used Elmer's glue. It was ridiculous and terribly fun.
So a Poe Celebration
