Pastels

My preconceived notions of the desert included harsh temperatures and landscapes so I was both surprised and delighted to find these pastel badlands. I’m not a pastel gal but the surreal clay and mudstone badlands landscapes were captivating. They were definitely some of my favourite places to shoot. This is Zabriskie Point just left of the Manly Beacon.
