Mud cracks!!! Apparently, as I spoke with my colleagues at work, very few people are as fascinated by mud cracks as photographers but I loved the graphic nature of the patterns in the mud here. As the water began to dry up from the flood in Death Valley, it created some amazing mud cracks. The variety was amazing. We whiled away two afternoons on mud cracks alone and probably could have spent more time there!
