Pentland View
This is my first HDR shot! When I got here I actually had to wear sunglasses the sun was that bright! I deliberately waited till the sun set behind the hill and even with a 3 stop reverse grad filter I could not capture the dynamic range of the shot on my 6d. So I thought I'll take two pics and try to combine them in Affinity... An HDR I guess which I've never done before. So here it is my first HDR shot combining two shots where I set the camera to manual everything... focused then exposed for the sky and then exposed for the foreground. I have to say I've even surprised myself how well it came out and a technique ill defo use again!
I also think this is my fave view I've found in Midlothian looking across to the Pentlands. A view and shot I've looked for for a few years now location wise.
