Unearthed

A wealthy families home alone a cobbled street, in Pompeii, Italy, with a tiled entryway complete with a guard dog. My only regret from my visit to Pompeii was that I could not stay longer. A thousand photos would not be enough and I would happily spend weeks there exploring the ruins. Truth be told when I was a kid I would have told you I was fascinated by ancient history and ruins and wanted to be an archeologist. If I had been blessed with a Math gene I would likely have gone into the sciences in some capacity that involved ruins, artifacts, and nature. If I could assist on a dig, even my now, my now mature adult self would be filled with childlike excitement! My next adventure coming up in March is a trip to Cairo, Egypt to check off another bucket list item of seeing and entering a a pyramid, seeing the Sphinx and Valley of the Kings and seeing mummies! Maybe a boat ride down the Nile, and then watching my daughter work her magic on the shoot for her newest designs of gowns for her Bridal and Formalwear shop! Our return nets us a day at Istanbul Market to shop before flying home. I seriously do need a return of Pompeii tho! Italy has captivated me,,,SO much to love about that place,
