Happiness is settling your soul into it’s most appropriate spot :)

I thought with the weekend coming up fast, this was a most appropriate theme. make some plans to settle yourself into YOUR soul’s most appropriate spot....be it home or not, working or playing, relaxing with the Sweet Sixteen and cheering on your team or napping on the sofa with a good book!

For me, the peace and quiet with no one around gives me time to work on my art...i have several projects going at once, so unlike me!! If the cold dissipates tonight i will try to finish up sanding the end table i am turning into a nightstand. I have to make a run to the post office and paint store...after all the agonizing over paint colors for the beach box, and finally choosing the right ones for each room, the painter (Augie!) has given his suggestion for durability and it is not the same paint company i chose from. I will now have to go match what i like to the colors from the other company. trepidation. if they do not have what i want i will be SO very annoyed! Then after sanding the table i will finish up another repurposed cabinet door, and then order the hardware i need to complete it. i really should also go to the gallery and swap out some pieces for spring. If i can accomplish even half of this i will be a happy camper, since then my slate will be ready to have a weekend brainstorming and creating with some other things i have here!!

i can’t wait to get back down to NC. It has been beastly damp and raw here....i need a dose of 68 degrees. Looks like i will be heading there Thursday, and spending Easter helping my daughter move... by then, the inside walls will all be ALMOST done. Then comes new windows, doors, flooring, appliances and cabinets......oh, yeah. and toilets and sinks/vanities which the other suddenly decided to do.

GO! Find some happiness for your soul! i am going to get a jump on that right now! :)
