Moonlight Bat Walk - Tocil Lake - 08 Oct 2019

Electronic bat detectors enabled Warwick Volunteers to listen to flying bats as they hunted for insects. Daubenton bats were seen skimming the surface of Tocil Lake, fishing insects from the water. And above the trees, pipistrelle bats swooped down to feed on small flies.

Tocil Lake is on the University of Warwick campus.
