Here is the second of the 3 final pieces. It incorporates the yellow with the blue and orange (with black and white), which gave me the vibrant greens that are almost too much. I loved the boldness of this piece. It feels kind of crazy, but like something is about to happen.
Usually, I pick a palette of paint, mix a lot of colors, and then see what it leads me to do with them. It is a conversation between me, the paint, and the substrate (board, canvas, paper). One thing just leads to another, and the music plays on.
