'Raskolnikov'
I don't know why but I immediately saw this fellow as Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov in Fyodor Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment." If you know the story then you might see it that way too? Strange how the mind works - well - my mind anyway.
I enlarged the photo so I could see the title of the book ... he is reading "L'herbe du diable et la petite fumée" by Carlos Castaneda. Why, of course, what else would he be reading? :)
As I review my photos from the trip I am realizing I did more street photography than I had initially thought - I hope my subjects don't mind being surreptitiously photographed given I have no permissions? My apologies in advance should they discover their image online (highly unlikely) ... I would be happy to remove any and all that might offend at their request.
