So ... do you think Flickr is going to survive the sale? How many of you are planning to migrate to another photo site and, if so, which one?
I hope Flickr survives ... I have made many friends over the years and it would be a shame to 'lose touch.'
I have always disliked the fact that Flickr displays a lower resolution version of our work and therefore, sometimes, digital artifacts creep into our photos. The above is a case in point ... the bokeh has colour banding in the displayed version which is not in the original and the photo is not as sharp as the print. I suppose it is impossible for the submissions not to be reduced in size given that many millions of photos are uploaded each day.
