VidPro 27" Tripod Bag - Review

This VidPro 27" tripod bag acommodates my Manfrotto 190CXPRO3 3-Section Pro carbon fiber tripod with attached 496RC2 ball head. I simply tilt the mountng bracket into the portrait position, and in it goes! Once inside the tripod has plenty of breathing room. There's approximatley 1" of extra length created because the bag is unstructured. Therefore, the top and bottom of tripod do not wear against the ends of the bag. And the height and width of the bag allow room for miscellaneous items. This extra space could also be used to accomodate a towel or some other type of homemade padding solution.

The bag is lightly padded. The padding feels like 1/4" solid foam sheets common to many camera bags. And on my copy the foam panels are not sewn in perfectly so they overlap on one end and leave a couple inches unpadded on the other end. There is one small outside pocket measuring 8" 5" (19 x 12 cm) with the VidPro logo on it. The bag has two strap handles, one on either side, as well as a nonadjustable, unpadded shoulder strap. I'll upload a photo or two in case it helps. For $12 I'm very happy; the price is right :)

The bag measures 25.5" x 5" x 5" (65 x 12 x 12 cm)
