Early Pentax ME Super
After spinning off the Pentax MV as the autoexposure-only beginner model, here is a significant update to 1977's Pentax ME. The ME Super adds a new (fiddly pushbutton) option to set exposures manually, and new LED signaling in the viewfinder. Surprisingly this only adds an imperceptible increase to the camera's tiny size.
The classic ME aperture-priority mode is clearly still the emphasis here; but the changes do not add any downside to that, while enabling occasional manual settings.
Note the absence of any "Asahi" engraving, which was still present on the MV.
