1978 Alpa 11si

Making quite a contrast to their "budget" Si 2000, the hand-assembled, Swiss, and (cough) $1,465 Alpa 11si was the final model in a long-lived, beautifully-finished, and very idiosyncratic SLR series. As the text above indicates, by 1978 it was considered pretty dated to rely on stopdown metering. But Alpa lenses were just about the last in existence to remain committed to an external PAD aperture linkage.
