Yashica Electro 35 introduction

Here's the launch of Yashica's extremely long-lived Yashica Electro 35 series of rangefinder cameras. (The "Electro" name was later re-used on some unrelated SLR models.)

 

While not especially small, the Electro 35 models offered a good f/1.7 lens and aperture-priority autoexposure in a competitively-priced package.
