…one more with a French theme…this another photo from my archives, from 2001, the summer just before the world changed :-( {an old scan of a 35mm film print, and cropped slightly; seems to have picked up a blue cast to the blacks in the scanning, but otherwise no applied effects}
It was taken on the Cours Mirabeau, a wide boulevard planted with double rows of plane trees and dotted with cafés and fountains, dividing the old town of Aix-en-Provence from the new.
