Clearly angry, this officer continues to shout at the protester as he complies with the order to walk away.
The sun had set and it was dusk when I took this. Light being what it was, I had to use a flash. If the officer hadn't been alerted to my presence by the flash, I can only wonder if the above scene would have played out differently.
Thinking that the police were going after cameras (and thinking I was next), I left the scene and posted the pictures on the Internet as soon as I could. It was a confusing scene, and I understand it became much more so after I left. It would be the next day when Scottsdale PD issued a press release before we had a better understanding of what was going on.
