This is Colonel Robert Samuel McLaughlin house in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and this is "My Town" he started working in 1887 for his father's company, McLaughlin Carriage Works, at one time the largest manufacturer of horse-drawn buggies and sleighs in the British Empire. Colonel McLaughlin started one of the first automobile manufacturers in Canada in 1907, which we now know as General Motors!
