Peace.... STOP WAR!!

This is in memory of all the people who died seven years ago today on September 11 200, may there be world peace someday!! Today i recieved an email from a work coleague i thought i would pass on, so here it reads.
Today, Sept. 11/08 at 08.46 marks the 7th anniversary of American Airlines Flight 11 hitting the north tower of the New York City World Trade Centre. Over the next 100 minutes on that day a chain of events took place that changed our lives forever. In the end over 3000 people lost their lives, including 24 Canadians. To quote President Bush on that day "Today our way of life, our very freedom came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts...Today our nation saw evil, the very worst of human nature, and we responded with the best of America, with the daring of our rescue workers, with the caring for strangers and neighbours who came to give blood and help in anyway they could."
We must remember and pay tribute to the 343 members of the Fire Dept. of New York City, EMS Personnel and members of the NYPD, who so bravely lost their lives in their attempt to save thousands of innocent people caught in this senseless act of terrorism. We also remember the families of all loved ones lost that day in these four incidents.
September 11, 2001 will live in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives. Today, as a result of these events, lives continue to be lost as the war on terrorism continues. Yesterday, Canada's 97th casualty of this war passed through Whitby as Canada continues to provide protection not only to Canadians working in Afghanistan, but also to the women and children of that country. We must never forget the sacrifice made by these people.
