EYES OF GOLD

Eyes of gold

Are beaming out

As if to burn your heart

They mesmerise

They hypnotise

You're powerless to depart

 

You cannot look away

Nor move

They hold you in their glare

You're trapped

Within a sea of gold

Captive of a golden stare
