FRIEND OR FOE?

A face appeared,

the strangest thing,

it seemed a bird,

yet was it?

 

With eyebrows large,

the headlight eyes,

peered brightly over,

long hooked beak.

 

But then we saw,

its ruby mouth,

a smile no less,

but friend or foe?
