Peanut Butter Heaven

I've been craving mochi for months now thanks to this picture by chcharlie. I finally got my hands on some...yay!!!

 

This local japanese mom and pop shop handmakes fresh mochi everyday. I feel so lucky to have access to it though not everyday...at least sometimes! These are the smooth peanut butter mochi...my kids' favorite. Mine are the good ol' red bean ones.
