239 Fault located
Sometimes it is a simple fix. A wire pulled from the connector was the source of the problem. I had already removed the speed sender from the gearbox and checked the plastic drive gear was engaged with the worm gear on the output shaft which it was. I then tested both the sender units. I initially had some erratic reading then dead on both senders. I removed the cover from the back of the multi plug and found this. I have carried out a repair but I will need to lengthen the loom to the gear box as it is just a bit too short.
