Tawny Frogmouth, Grafton area, 9.1.09

Here is a night-bird from the area. There was a family of Tawny Frogmouths right above where we set up camp, and at night we could here their soft clickings and shufflings and they hunted for prey. They had no concern of humans, and on multiple occasions I was within 2 metres of the birds. The lighting here is a mixture of a torch and the camera flash.
