Birth of a Mandala
I have been to several Tibetan Mandala ceremonies, yet, the beauty and power of these rituals never lose their impact. So when I discovered that one was beginning this week, my birthday week of all weeks, I had to show up. This capture was taken today during the initial construction of the geometry of the mandala, and so it seemed fitting for this Flickr Friday of #Birth.
