Eurydice & Orpheus
That my dead love came in
So softly she moved
That her feet made no din
Then she came close beside me
And this she did say
"It will not be long love,
till our wedding day
I have been wanting to do a piece on these lovers for some time now and when I walked into Del May poses and saw this pose called "Eurydice and Orpheus" I knew it was fate!
This story, whilst embedded in mythology feels very human. A passionate enduring love torn apart by death. A lover who would do anything to get his soulmate back, human frailty and finally the choice of taking death to be with that person forever.
Credits:-
Background Main - Secondlife sim Empress and Hierophant
Background mist - well I thought it was dirty clouds by Duncan Allan but he says its not his although close to one he does so I don't know whose it is lol
