Erik Hargrove
For 30 years, Erik Hargrove has played the drums and percussion in various bands and groups. Erik has played in all sorts of musical situations as well.
Growing up, Erik played in the marching band, concert bands, jazz bands, steel drum band and also a local classic rock band. Erik continued after high school in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany for 3 years. A short while later Erik was stationed at Fort Gordon in Georgia.
Erik left the military after 9 years of service and joined with The Late Great “James Brown” where he toured all over the world from 1998 until 2005.
Erik has also done various gigs around the world with – Sister Hazel, Ken Block’s Solo Performances, Thomas McClary ( Founder of “The Commodores”, Guitar Player and Writer of the Hit Song“Brick House” and others.) Bootsy Collins in his “Tribute to James Brown” where he toured Europe and Japan in 2008 and 2009.
Erik currently performs in Singapore and around Asia.
