One Hundred and One Uses for Potatoes

Monday, February 16th

My parents went to Dover today, so on their way back through town they stopped by the Castle. While they were here, I told my Dad that the light bulbs in my overhead lighting were broken off and I couldn't screw in new ones. So, he used a potato to get the metal part out -- turns out they provide a pretty good grip. Here's a picture of the potato that got the job done and the culprit that prevented me from having overhead lighting for a few months.

Then, I watched 2 more episodes of Lost to bring me up to speed this season. On Demand is the best invention ever. Oh, but first I watched the Bachelor -- he totally got rid of the wrong girl. Just sayin.
