Crown of 650nm

Taken with a 16 second exposure and a laser pointer, way back in 2007 when I first got this camera, and figured out it could do long exposures.

 

Looks better on black.

 

Lent the laser pointer to a colleague who got a kitten later that year, and then changed jobs and never got it back.

 

Working from home this lunchtime, so backed up some photos, and found this one in the archives.

Cropped.

Added vignette.

Sharpped.

Used "select by colour" to avoid sharpening laser lines, as this just added noise.
