Astral Transmission
A chilly night with clear skies had me at one of the Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation locations. Instead of a view of the forest, I opted for this transmission tower as a foreground to these star trails. Anyone who has been to this spot has probably heard the buzzing in the air of electricity from the nearby substation, which is what prompted me to look this way.
This is about 20 minutes of trails, stacked in camera using live composite, which really makes star trail shots easy!
