Fun with Flash Gels
Well - that turned out dramatic.
That's a normal mid-range brown natural wooden Tiki (parents purchased in Hawaii in 1971) hit with a speedlight in front, on the floor, pointed up, with a red flash gel.
A second speed light (with a blue flash gel) is under the small table Tiki is on, pointed at the dark gray backdrop,

Some minor slider pushing to up the texture a bit, but that's about it.
