John and "Aunt" Orelena Puckett lived in the one room cabin beginning in 1874. "Aunt" Orelena assisted in over 1000 births and never lost a baby or mother through any fault of her on. Sadly none of her own 24 children lived pasted infancy. She died in 1939 at the age of 102
