Slip Into Something More Comfortable
I kind of stumbled across this scene following a rather rowdy sunrise shoot at Eastbourne Pier a few weeks back...
The low tide revealed a clear line of groyne posts which led the eye nicely towards a marker. There was hardly any clouds in the sky following sunrise, just a few lingering along the horizon line and quickly dissipating as the rising sun takes hold of the day.
I knew the soft light and tones wouldn’t last much longer so I quickly waded into the shallows in my trusted wellies and set up my composition. I sunk my tripod into the wet sand, attached filters and a cable release. Ive kept the exposure time relatively short knowing me and my tripod would sink a little with each passing wave...
The final image is a little soft and although I could have shot the scene from the shoreline and cropped in, I couldn’t resist...
Thanks for viewing, have a great weekend and take care :-)
