Dennis Chinaworks Ostara In Winter
Dennis Chinaworks have produced this wonderful new conical vase which was perfect for our new Ostara edition. Anglo-Saxon mythology is the foundation of English culture, Ostara was the goddess of the moon, the resurrection of life in spring and fertility. The White Hare was her intermediary between night and day, life and death, a liminal figure honoured and feared in folklore.
Ostara is a hand thrown, hand decorated vase, approximately 24cm tall. It is designed for exclusively Illyria by Sally Tuffin and made in an edition of 10 by Dennis China.
