Pacific Cod Skeleton

Pacific cod bones and skeletalized remains are a common sight on the beaches of Kiska Island. I'm pretty sure I watched as a sea lion caught and ate this codfish or one like it. Later I saw gulls feeding on the carcass and eventually the bones ended up on the beach in front of our camp. The cycle of life.
