Winter Wonderland
A freezing cold night at Bow Lake, Banff National Park. Taken back in April 2014. The lake is completely covered with snow this night. And the sky was covered with clouds as I arrived at Bow Lake earlier in the evening. I was thinking that this night might not have much luck for some night photography with the dark starry sky. And almost decided to leave. But was too tired from the driving from Vancouver the day before. So I took a quick nap in my car. Woke up around 2AM in the morning and noticed the sky was mostly cleared with the crescent moon setting behind some clouds that left in the sky.
I was so excited and quickly grab my camera and started to set up my camera and tripod. So glad that I stayed this night and waited for the opportunity to come.
