In 2035, the Eurasian lightning offensive caught the European Union off-guard. Berlin had become a hub of research and development for the European Space Agency, and the speed with which Eurasian forces advanced left little time for personnel evacuation, and even less for destruction or extraction of sop-secret technology and documents contained within the facilities. After the initial Eurasian onslaught, the ESA ordered that important documents and hard drives pertaining to the Artemis Space Station and classified VR research must be recovered from the Krypton LLC Company building. A team of EDF shock troopers were inserted behind enemy lines via black hawk helicopter on the top of the building, where they repelled down to the 30th floor window to make entry. The hard drives and documents were successfully recovered with no enemy interactions. However, they also found that a computer hub had been wheeled in and tapped into the mainframe servers. Weather this was a hasty attempt by an employee to erase sensitive info before evacuation, or if someone else had made entry into the facility before the EDF arrived remains to be seen...
