Clouds Over Pierce Ranch (HFF)
A cloudy morning at the abandoned Pierce Point Ranch. The ranch dates to 1858 and was one of the four largest ranches along the Point Reyes Peninsula. It was renowned for its high quality butter that was featured in the finest food shops in San Francisco. The ranch ceased operations in 1973 but remains one of the least altered, most well preserved ranches from the period. A great place for pictures if you don't mind the periodic chilly weather.
