Wind Blown Fog on Tomales Bay
Point Reyes is a diverse raw environment with rough roads, frequent harsh weather, and numerous weathered and abandoned buildings and ranches. Yet, I find it one of the most wonderful places on earth. On any given day one can view Tule Elks, Elephant Seals, coyotes, whales, bob cats, mountain lions, eagles, hawks, and seabirds galore all in their gritty natural environment. To top it off, the scenic views are stunning especially in the early and late hours of the day.
Here, wind swept fog blows from the ocean, across Pierce Point into Tomales Bay. Layered clothing is always a good bet when you visit. The weather can change without a moments notice.
