Eight students from the Charter School for Applied Technologies were welcomed to the Buffalo District as part of a Job Shadow Day on March 14, 2013. The students talked to professionals, and were able to see first-hand what a career is really like, as well as received advice on college majors and learn about the Corps of Engineers.

 

The day, organized by the Equal Employment Opportunity office, ended with a lunch and learn with the Buffalo District EEO officer on jobs in the Federal government. The students shadowed professional in a number of fields including: economics, military, graphic arts, safety, security, biochemistry, law, and chemistry.
