The Pelican Five
I apologize for being away for so long. I've been visiting my grandparents in South Texas, just 5 miles north of the Mexican border town Nuevo Progreso. Lots of guacamole, margaritas, and bird pictures. But, sadly, a very slow internet connection.
These guys were kind enough to pose for me near the very south end of South Padre Island. It was while watching them glide like seaplanes over a beer with my wife that I realized that pelicans are my favorite birds.
I am looking forward to catching up with all my wonderful contacts' work.
