Lorsqu'en 1377 la construction de la tour fut terminé, on plaça un dragon à son sommet. C'est celui-ci. Car après la démolition du sommet du beffroi en 1839 on l'a trouvé érodé et en piteuse état. Il fut donc remplacé en 1854 par un nouvel exemplaire.
Cependant, là où le premier a duré 5 siècles, le second se trouvait tellement abîmé en 1979, 1 siècle plus tard, qu'on décida d'en fabriquer un 3me, identique au premier. D'une structure en acier inoxydable recouverte de plaques de cuivre rouge, de 3,28m de long sur 1,91m de haut, pour une envergure de 1,50m et un poids de 455 kg, le nouveau dragon fut placé sur le sommet de la tour le 8 nov. 1980

When in 1377 the construction of the tower was finished, one placed a dragon at its top. It is the latter. Because after the demolition of the top of the belfry in 1839 it was found eroded and in pitiful state. It was then replaced in 1854 by a new copy.
However, where the first lasted 5 centuries, the second was so damaged in 1979, one century later, that one decided to make a 3rd, identical to the first. In a stainless steel structure covered with red copper plates, 3,28m long to 1,91m high, with a wingspan of 1.50 meters and a weight of 455 kg, the new dragon was placed on top of the tower November 8, 1980
